How can i make this disney vacation affortable for my family’s very small budget?
Thursday, January 29th, 2009Ok. Im sixteen and i want to plan a fun family vacation to Disney world over a summer for me, my 50 yr young mom and my 12 year old sister.
I really wanted to stay in disney world for a week and actually stay in a value resort.
My mom’s afraid of flying so we’ll rent a car and travel from our home in Louisiana to Orlando.
The tickets and the room for a seven day stay should cost about 1500 for us, i think.
But i have to add the rental car fees (Our car is a piece of crap and it really doesn’t run that well. Using it for travel is out of the question)
Rental car fees, gas money, spending money, trip preportations and a lot of other stuff.
I decided that the trip would probably be around 3000. But that’s just my estimate. I’m not sure how much it would cost for real. Can you tell me if this is correct?
How can i make this trip fun AND affordable for my family? Remember, it’s just the three of us. And i definalty want it to be summer in a value resort 4 a week.Thank
Emmanuel
Affordable Disney Vacation - An Enjoyable Vacation For Kids of All Ages
Wednesday, January 28th, 2009When we plan holidays, we want it to be filled with fun and excitement, and so a trip to the USA is not complete without visiting Walt Disney World. You must have heard it from almost everyone who’s been there and haven’t stopped raving about the place and their Affordable Walt Disney Vacation.
Just like a visit to the Alps or Great Barrier Reef is a must do, this is also one such place. Ever since we were small, we have enjoyed the make believe world where teapots could talk and bears licking on honey or maybe the little mermaid singing while sitting on the rock. Wouldn’t it be one amazing vacation to watch all of this in real and see how the theme park comes to life with the fireworks show and the Mickey Mouse parades?
You can choose from the range of Disney Vacation Clubs to pick up a time slot perfect for you and stay in a private resort that is all yours. These are within driving distance from all the key attractions like The Magic Kingdom and Cinderella Castle and the Epcot Park.
If you have had enough of the rides, you can relax at the entertainment centers showing the Arabian Nights while you enjoy a lovely dinner at one of the restaurants. And for those who want to get away from it all for a while, they can take a drive down to any of the beaches, like the Cocoa beach, which is less than an hour’s drive away from Disney World, to refresh, rejuvenate and come back for more.
If you hate standing in long lines, waiting for your turn and then be told it will take another hour before your turn comes, you will require a FASTPASS. This concept called FASTPASS which is available for almost all the rides, and if you want to avail them you need to check the counters and timings mentioned on them.
This is one way of cutting across long queues and getting to your ride directly. But you cannot pick up more than one FASTPASS at a time, so read up before you pick a pass. Also make sure everyone in your group fits the bill, regarding height and health conditions to enjoy your affordable Disney Vacation in all glory.
While visiting the Magical Kingdom section of the park, you can make a bee line for the Big Thunder Mountain Railway. If you have your FASTPASS, you will get a seat on the roller coaster ride right away. In case rockets are what hold’s your fantasy, head straight to the Tomorrowland and get lost in Buzz Lightyear’s space ranger spin where you shoot at the lightening bolts, and if you have been dreaming of Pirates of the Caribbean the whole time, then its time to visit Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate class for a game of sword fighting or a lesson in Pirate’s language. And when you spot the boat ride next door, that is where the jungle cruise starts.

How can i win a free Disney Vacation?
Tuesday, January 27th, 2009I love everything Disney, but my family doesn’t. They don’t want to spend a ton of money “just to see mickey.” But if we win a vacation, they would be happy to go. Is there any way for me to apply to win a free Disney trip? When i say Disney trip, i mean Disneyland, DisneyWorld, or the Disney Cruise. Thanks!

Quick Tips for Disney Vacation Deals
Tuesday, January 27th, 2009Planning a Disney vacation is relatively easy with all the online tools available, but finding good Disney vacation deals requires a little more research. There are, however, some simple strategies to getting the best discounts on your Disney World trip.
Do comprehensive research before booking your vacation as many reservations require a deposit. Failing to investigate all available options can result in unnecessary expenses as you may not be getting the best deal. Furthermore, you risk getting locked in to a bad deal too early.
Work out your budget. Know how much you can spend on your Disney vacation as you do not want to rack up a huge debt from the trip. Estimate the costs associated with all aspects of your vacation. This includes lodging and travel, park admission, rental cars, dining, souvenirs, and play money. Remember that all these expenses must be at factored into your overall budget.
Once you have a budget, you may consider using a Disney vacation package as you look into Disney vacation deals. Disney offers a number of different options. Each option offers different levels of inclusive costs, such as lodging, park tickets, and meals. However, if you choose to invest in a vacation package, be sure you are able to use all the package benefits during your visit to Disney. Many people waste their money by upgrading to packages with features they will never use, wasting hundreds of unused dollars.
The area surrounding Disney World is filled with great attractions. Explore the area and see if you can find free or cheap entertainment and food. Often, you may find activities that don’t require spending any money. There are also numerous lodging options off-site. Consider spending two or three days directly on-site at the park and then transferring to a cheaper off-site hotel after your visit to the Disney resort area. This will not only save you money on lodging and dining, but it will also add excitement and joy to your vacation.
Planning in advance for Disney vacation is important if you want to secure an affordable and yet enjoyable vacation. Looking into various Disney vacation deals helps you to cut a few dollars here and there so that you can have money for extra attractions or to buy a special souvenir in remembrance of your trip. Don’t underestimate the savings you receive from more research. A few dollars here and there adds up to a lot when you bring the whole family along.

Does anyone have a Disney Vacation Pin code I could possibly use?
Monday, January 26th, 2009How Far In Advance Should You Book A Disney Vacation?
Saturday, January 17th, 2009I’ve never been to Disney before and my boyfriend said he would take me next summer. He’s going to pay for the whole thing. But, he said it was up to me to find out all the info, the room rates and do the booking. He’ll just pay.
So, I want to know when is the best time to book a Disney Vacation? We want to go in July or August of 2009. We only want to spend about $2,000. So, when is the best time to book our trip?

What is the best way to go when planning a Disney vacation in Florida for a family of 3 for 7 days?
Tuesday, January 13th, 2009my Husband & I are planning on taking our 6 yr old to Disney World in Orlando Fl. and this will be our first time there. We are unsure what are the best prices. We have had a 6 night 7 day vacation quoted at around 1,593.00. That includes the value resort, my way ticket for all 7 days, with the water park addition. I am just curious of wheither or not this sounds like a good deal and I also would like some input from people that have been about where they best and not so exspensive places to go are and how well you liked it. Also when would be the best time to go I really don’t want to go when it is the most exspensive but would like the option of not so crowded either. Thanxs
Nathan
